In 1996, Trish made a promise to her father after he was discharged from the hospital. Following his diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma and a subsequent nephrectomy, she promised that he would never spend another night in a hospital. Trish retired from Katherine's Keepers in 2018.
It was during a difficult medical crisis in Carole’s family that she recognized the importance of caring for her mother at home. Carole’s mother was able to stay at home and be cared for by her family with the help of a home care agency.
Patti and her family made a similar commitment to their grandmother 10 years ago when she suffered a stroke. They cared for their grandmother, Katherine, and they lovingly called themselves "Katherine's Keepers".
Katherine’s Keepers is committed to providing high quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of the home setting.
Our belief is that everyone deserves to be cared for in a dignified manner while nurturing the whole person… mind, body, and spirit.
